Our Services Include: | Physical Therapy Manual therapy is a tool in Physical Therapy using
hands-on treatments to improve joint mobility and indirectly
muscular function. It is most commonly used to relieve restricted
movement, and pain commonly seen in diagnoses
including arthritis of the spine including lower back and neck
pains or any joint pains. You will usually see the physical
therapist for 45 minutes to an hour, 2 times a week for as long as
the therapist recommends. | TMJ Therapy This therapy involves improving range of motion,
pain and muscle spasms about the Tempromandibular joint. A
non-invasive drug delivery system called iontophoresis can be used
to decrease pain and inflammation that can be the result of
traumatic events or the shape of the jaw reacting with repetitive
motions such as chewing and grinding. | Sports Therapy This therapy is for athletes, wether they be College, High
School, or weekend warriors, who have injured their shoulders,
knees, or ankles. These injuries can occur from overuse or other
traumas. We use various modalities to treat pain and
inflammation and prescribe specific exercises to improve range
of motion and strength, to allow the athlete to return to his
or her sport. | Health & Wellness With this program we measure cardiovascular endurance,
muscular strength, endurance and flexibility. We can also
determine sleeping, walking, running, and bike riding. This is
mostly for people concerned with preventing heart attacks and
strokes by promoting cardiovascular health. | Muscular Strength & Endurance This program includes simple exercises such as sit-ups,
push-ups, and pull-ups. You should come to use because we use
scientific based test procedures based on data points that include
age, sex, height, and weight, so you compare yourself to the norms
of people in similar brackets. This is a very personalized
treatment with procedures based on the individual. | Flexibility This is based on a simple sit and reach test that measures
the flexibility of your lower trunk and upper extremities. Muscular
tightness has been linked to lower back injuries and muscular
strains, sprains, and injuries. You can help prevent injuries by
keeping your body flexible. |
